Plumbit has separate WordPress identity, theme-header, footer, and Elementor template owners. Choose the owner that supplies the visible mark before changing an image or text value.
Before you begin#
- Make sure Plumbit is active and you have suitable Customizer access.
- Prepare a readable PNG or WebP logo with transparent space trimmed appropriately.
- Decide whether the visible header or footer is supplied by Plumbit or an Elementor template.
Know which identity setting you need#

Changes to theme Footer Sidebar widgets do not automatically alter an Elementor Footer template.
Open Site Identity#
Configure a Plumbit theme header logo#
When the theme supplies the header, open Appearance > Customize > Header > Main Header. Set Logo for the ordinary header, Homepage Logo for the home-page variant, Sticky Logo under Header > Sticky Header, or Mobile Logo under Header > Mobile Header.
- Use Custom Logo Size, Logo Width, Logo Height, and Logo Max Width only when a deliberate size adjustment is needed.
- Use Enable Site Title when the theme header should show the title text.
- Check the home-page, sticky, and mobile previews after changing their separate controls.
Understand text and logo fallbacks#
The theme uses the home-page logo when that value is set; otherwise it uses the main Logo. An empty Mobile Logo falls back to the main Logo. When a theme logo is unavailable, the Site Title can provide the visible text fallback when title display is enabled. A browser tab title is controlled separately by WordPress document-title settings.
If the theme header is missing its logo, check the selected header type, the main Logo field, the Mobile Logo or Sticky Logo field, and Enable Site Title before changing unrelated layout settings.
When an Elementor Header or Footer template is active#
Open the assigned Elementor Header or Footer template and select the Image widget that displays the mark. The widget has its own image, link, alignment, and responsive controls. Elementor template content is separate from Plumbit theme-header output.
Prepare and publish safely#
- Use PNG or WebP for the logo. Transparent space is useful when the logo appears over different header colors.
- Check contrast, transparent padding, and the preview at desktop, sticky, home-page, and mobile sizes.
- Use the Customizer Publish control only after the correct owner and header state are confirmed.
- Open a private or logged-out window after publishing to confirm the public header.
Common problems#
Expected result#
The Site Title, Tagline, Site Icon, theme logos, footer identity, and Elementor template logos are edited through the correct owner, with the public header and browser identity showing the intended result.
Support escalation#
Include the affected URL, active header provider, header state, setting owner, screenshot, and Plumbit, WordPress, Elementor, PHP, and browser versions. Do not send passwords.
