Tree Root Removal

Tree roots are naturally drawn to the moisture and nutrients inside sewer lines. Once they enter through a loose joint, crack, or weakened section of pipe, they can spread quickly and restrict wastewater flow. Slow drains, recurring clogs, gurgling fixtures, unpleasant odors, and sewage backups may all indicate root intrusion that needs more than a basic drain cleaning.

Plumbit begins with a sewer camera inspection to locate the affected area and determine how severely the roots have entered the line. We then use appropriate cutting or high-pressure cleaning equipment to remove the obstruction and restore the pipe’s internal opening. The line is cleared carefully to reduce the risk of damaging older or already weakened pipework.

After removal, we inspect the sewer line again to check for cracks, separated joints, corrosion, or other openings that allowed the roots to enter. Because cutting roots does not repair a damaged pipe, we explain whether the line needs sealing, sectional repair, or replacement to help prevent the problem from returning. The result is improved drainage and a clear plan for protecting the sewer system long term.
